“I AM CHANGING MY PLEA”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, PROSECUTORS SAY ANTHONY DARRELL SAYLOR TRAFFICKED METHAMPHETAMINE, HEROIN AND FENTANYL IN MAGOFFIN COUNTY… AND HE HAS NOW REACHED A DEAL TO PLEAD GUILTY IN FEDERAL COURT.

One of two Kentucky men charged in a Magoffin County drug trafficking conspiracy has reached an agreement with federal prosecutors.
Anthony Darrell Saylor, 38, of Salyersville, requested permission to change his plea last week.
U.S. District Judge David Bunning approved the request on Wednesday.
Saylor was indicted alongside 34-year-old Eddie Arnold McFarland of Lakeville.
Both men were arrested following a search operation conducted by local law enforcement.
A raid by the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office allegedly uncovered a substantial amount of illicit narcotics.
The seized substances allegedly included methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl.
A federal grand jury subsequently indicted both men on multiple drug charges.
Both defendants were charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

Both were also charged with distribution of controlled substances.
Then individual charges were added against each man.
Saylor was charged with possession with intent to distribute.
McFarland faces an additional federal charge involving the use of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.
The specific terms of Saylor’s plea agreement have not been made public.
And their cases are moving forward on separate tracks.
Saylor is scheduled to appear in federal court in Ashland on Sept. 14 to formally enter his plea.
McFarland is scheduled to go to trial on Sept. 10.
One defendant is headed toward a guilty plea.
The other is still preparing for trial.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
