An elderly Baltimore woman was reunited with her family less than a day after being found wandering alone, police said.

The woman was identified as Ms. Kieth of Belair-Edison in Baltimore, Maryland, according to police.
On Friday, April 10, 2026, Baltimore police found the elderly woman wandering alone in the 4100 block of Raymonn Avenue, the department said.
She appeared to be living with dementia, according to officers.
The woman was unable to tell responding officers her name, where she lived, or how to reach anyone who knew her, police said.

With no other way to identify her, police did the only thing left to try, according to the department. Officers shared her photo and what little information they knew publicly, police said.
Investigators asked anyone who recognized her to come forward, according to authorities.
The effort worked quickly, police said. By Saturday, less than a day later, the department confirmed she had been identified as Ms. Kieth, according to officers.
The photograph and the few details were all it took for strangers online to bring the family back together in under 24 hours, according to the department.
Ms. Kieth was reunited with her family, police said.
“Thank you to all who shared this post,” police said in their update.
