A Massachusetts father still speaks to his three deceased children following his former wife’s mistrial for their murders, he said in an interview clip.
Patrick Clancy, of Duxbury, Mass., appeared in his first interview since the mistrial in a television clip airing Thursday.
The father said he still speaks to the three deceased youngsters all the time, asking them to help him through the pain.
“I talk to them,” Clancy told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat in his first interview since his ex-wife’s mistrial for murdering their three children.
Asked what he tells them, he said: “‘Help me.’ All the time.”
In January 2023, the couple’s three children were strangled in the basement of their Duxbury, Mass. home, according to the report.

His former wife, 34-year-old Lindsay Clancy, admitted she strangled the youngsters, the report stated. She was previously employed as a delivery nurse.
The victims were identified as five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, and eight-month-old Callan.
Her trial for murder subsequently garnered rapt nationwide attention, according to reports.
Clancy’s lawyers argued that though she admitted to the killings, she was suffering from postpartum depression. Counsel contended she could therefore not be held accountable for her actions.
The criminal proceedings concluded without a verdict, according to the report.
Her trial for murder ended in an 11-1 hung jury after a lone holdout declined to vote for her acquittal.
