“I WAS JUST CROUCHING IN THE AISLES”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, POLICE SAY REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER CALESE CROWDER WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA SNIFFING SOMEONE OUT IN GLENDALE STORES… AND HE IS NOW IN JAIL AWAITING A HEARING FOR ALLEGEDLY VIOLATING HIS PAROLE.

A registered sex offender with a yearslong history of sniffing women’s butts in public has been arrested again in Southern California.
Glendale police officers were called to an unidentified business in the 1500 block of Glenoaks Boulevard shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
The call came in over reports of a suspicious man lurking inside the business.
According to KTLA, police said the man was spotted crouched down in the aisles.
He appeared to be “sniffing someone out,” police said.
As officers were wrapping up their response to the Glenoaks Boulevard business, another call came in from a nearby retailer.
That second call came from the Marshalls located at Brand Boulevard and Broadway.
Personnel at the Marshalls location reported a similar incident taking place inside the store.
Police then reviewed surveillance footage collected from both commercial locations.
From the video, investigators identified the suspect as 39-year-old Calese Crowder.
Officers tracked Crowder down shortly after in the 100 block of South Brand Boulevard.
Police placed him under arrest for allegedly violating his parole.
The arrest marks the latest allegation involving Crowder and a history of butt-sniffing incidents stretching back years.

But the Glendale calls follow a series of similar encounters with law enforcement in neighboring jurisdictions.
In August 2025, Crowder was arrested following another alleged sniffing incident inside a Burbank store.
That arrest occurred roughly a month after he had been taken into custody for similar behavior at the Empire Center shopping complex in Burbank.
In that earlier Burbank case, police were dispatched to a Nordstrom Rack store.
Officers responded after receiving reports of a suspicious man loitering in the store’s women’s department.
Surveillance footage from the location showed Crowder following a female shopper through the store.
The footage then captured him crouching behind the woman.
Burbank police said Crowder was “engaging in lewd behavior by inappropriately sniffing her buttocks.”
Officers later located Crowder at a nearby Walmart, where he was arrested.
Crowder was already on parole for a string of similar incidents across Burbank and Glendale that date back to 2021.
Then, in September 2025, Crowder admitted that he violated his parole, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Following that admission, he was ordered to serve 135 days in the Los Angeles County Jail.
Crowder will remain behind bars until his hearing.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
