An Arkansas man is facing multiple criminal charges after an officer found him naked inside a closed municipal park allegedly engaged in a sex act involving pool noodles, police said.

Michael Shane Barrett, 48, was arrested in the early morning incident, according to court documents.
On July 15, an officer noticed a Toyota Highlander parked inside Hollywood Park in Hot Springs around 2:30 a.m., according to a probable cause affidavit. The sport utility vehicle was sitting inside the grounds several hours after the park had closed, the affidavit states.
When the officer approached, Barrett was allegedly removing a pool noodle from himself and attempting to cover up with a sheet, police said.
The pool noodles had allegedly been modified into a homemade sex device using tape and dog waste bags taken from dispensers at the park, investigators said. Officers also reported finding an open container of Vaseline nearby, according to court documents.

Barrett told the officer he “just had an urge,” according to the affidavit.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered suspected methamphetamine, a burnt glass pipe and a THC vape, police said.
Barrett was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure, loitering and marijuana possession, the complaint states.
The felony methamphetamine charge carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison, court documents state.
Barrett was being held in the Garland County jail on an $8,500 bond, according to court records.
