Arkansas resident Judy Cox, 82, who lived inside a wedding boutique raided for fentanyl and meth, faces drug trafficking charges

An 82-year-old Arkansas resident was booked on multiple drug-related charges after officers raided a local wedding business, authorities said.

Judy A. Cox, 82, lived at the 512 Highway 463 address in Trumann where the search warrant was executed, according to police.

On September 10, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at Wedding Fantasies at that location, authorities said.

Public reporting describes Wedding Fantasies as a wedding boutique. During the search, authorities seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and cash, police said.

Authorities have not publicly released what led investigators to obtain the search warrant for the Trumann property, police said.

Officials have also declined to reveal the total amount of cash seized during the raid. In addition, authorities have not publicly disclosed the exact amount of each substance allegedly recovered, police said.

Police have not publicly stated how long they believe drug activity had allegedly been occurring at the address.

Investigators have also not disclosed whether any additional people are under investigation or whether additional arrests are expected, authorities said.

Following the search, Cox was taken into custody and booked on multiple drug charges, according to records.

The 82-year-old resident was charged with trafficking a controlled substance, records show.

Authorities also charged Cox with possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver between 10 and 200 grams.

Another count alleges possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, excluding methamphetamine and cocaine, with the purpose to deliver between 28 and 200 grams, records show.

Cox was also charged with possession of a Schedule IV or V controlled substance with the purpose to deliver less than 200 grams. She faces an additional charge of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver 14 grams or less, records show.

Authorities additionally charged the resident with maintaining a drug premises, records state.

Cox was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia involving methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin or fentanyl, police said.

She faces a second separate paraphernalia charge, according to booking documents.

Jail records show Cox was booked into the Poinsett County Detention Center around 5:09 p.m. that day.
