A 51-year-old Kings Park man has pleaded guilty after authorities say he robbed two Flagstar Bank branches in just three days.

Brian Blackford admitted in court to two counts of third-degree robbery.

He also admitted to one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Dec. 8, 2025, prosecutors said Blackford first walked into a Flagstar Bank in West Babylon.

He handed a note to a bank teller.

He left the building with $1,400.

Two days later, he allegedly entered another Flagstar Bank branch in Deer Park.

He handed over another note during that incident.

Blackford then pointed toward his waist as if he had a weapon.

That teller handed over $3,930.

But detectives found Blackford later that same day.

Police said he was in possession of 2.35 grams of cocaine.

Officers also recovered $2,700 in stolen cash from him.

And police found another handwritten note in his possession.

That note read: “give me $10,000 cash no funny business.”

On Aug. 27, Blackford pleaded guilty to the charges.

Then his case moved to the sentencing phase.

When he is sentenced Oct. 1, he is expected to receive between 5½ and 11 years in prison.

He had the cash.

He had the drugs.

He had the next note ready.
