“NO ONE WILL EVER FIND OUT”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, POLICE SAY EDINBURG PASTOR JORGE IVAN GONZALEZ MARTINEZ REPEATEDLY ABUSED A GIRL IN A CHURCH CAMERA ROOM… AND NOW FACES ADDITIONAL CHILD-GROOMING CHARGES AFTER TWO MORE JUVENILES CAME FORWARD.

Jorge Ivan Gonzalez Martinez, 49, is a pastor at Iglesia Poder Y Gloria Church in Edinburg.
He now faces two child-grooming charges after two additional juveniles came forward.
The new counts follow four previous indecency-with-a-child charges.
Those initial charges arose after a girl reported repeated sexual abuse inside the church’s camera room.
On July 19, the girl reported the alleged conduct to a parent.
She said Martinez’s hugs became tighter with body contact.
The contact escalated to kisses on her forehead, cheeks and lips.
She stated that Martinez later pulled away her clothing to expose her.
And during another encounter, he allegedly grabbed her hand and placed it on his genitals over his clothing.
According to reports, the alleged abuse occurred multiple times between March and April 2025.
On July 28, police arrested Martinez.
He was booked on three charges of indecency with a child involving sexual contact and one charge involving exposure.
His original bond was set at $300,000.

But that bond amount was later reduced to $70,000.
The reduction allowed Martinez to secure his release from jail on August 6.
The release was granted under strict court-ordered conditions.
Martinez was ordered to have no contact with children.
He was ordered not to attend church.
The court also ordered him to remain at least 1,000 feet away from child-safety zones.
Then two more juveniles stepped forward with additional accusations.
On August 25, Martinez was arraigned on two new child-grooming charges.
A judge issued an additional $100,000 bond following the arraignment.
Authorities have not released the ages of the two additional juveniles.
Their relationships to Martinez have not been disclosed.
Authorities have also not made public the specific details of the new grooming allegations.
Martinez now faces six total charges in Hidalgo County.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
