An Ohio man allegedly robbed an Elyria bank Thursday morning before trying to flee through a residential window less than two hours later, police said.
Daniel Lewis Brock, 37, is an Ohio resident facing charges in connection with the incident, according to authorities.
Elyria police responded to the KeyBank branch on West River Road North around 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, investigators said.
A man entered the building, indicated that he had a gun and demanded money from a teller, according to police.
He allegedly left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators said.
Cleveland police located Brock on Broadview Road by approximately 11 a.m., according to authorities.

Officers approached Brock less than two hours after the robbery was reported, according to police. The suspect immediately ran into a nearby home, investigators said.
He was taken into custody while allegedly trying to escape through a window of the residence, police said.
Brock was subsequently turned over to the custody of the Elyria Police Department, according to authorities.
The suspect was charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, police said.
Investigators suspect the KeyBank holdup was not his only attempt that morning, according to police.
Elyria police said Brock is also believed to be connected to an attempted robbery at a Chase Bank in Lorain earlier that same Thursday.
Brock is currently being held behind bars without bond pending his initial court appearance, according to police.
