An 18-year-old Kentucky teenager is behind bars after pleading guilty to charges connected to a violent online child sextortion network, authorities said.
Morgan Duncan, 18, entered the guilty plea in a Kentucky case tied to the violent targeting of children, records show.
The multi-agency investigation into Duncan’s activities began in 2024, according to authorities. He was 16 years old at the time the inquiry was launched, officials said.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI and the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office all took part in the joint investigation, authorities said.
Duncan was associated with an online network operating under the name “764,” investigators said.
The group was linked to the coercion and exploitation of vulnerable minors online, authorities said.
Members of the network used threats and manipulation against children, authorities said. The group pressured minors into producing illegal material and carrying out other harmful acts, officials said.
Investigators initially linked Duncan to allegations involving the production and distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to authorities.

Those initial allegations against the teenager also included counts of animal cruelty, terroristic threatening and organized crime, police said.
Duncan was arrested in 2025, authorities said. He was subsequently prosecuted as an adult, records show.
In 2026, Duncan formally pleaded guilty to the use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, court documents state.
Duncan admitted during an interview that he had been active in the online network, authorities said.
The defendant also confessed that he recruited additional members into the exploitation group, investigators said.
Duncan later acknowledged in court that one of his victims was only 11 years old, records show.
