A 46-year-old Pennsylvania man walked into a bank wearing a gas mask and handed a teller a demand note, police said.
Officials identified the accused man as 46-year-old Stephen Gaza, according to police.
On September 14, 2026, around 11:20 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at United Bank on Penn Street in Point Marion, Pennsylvania, authorities said.
Gaza allegedly entered the bank wearing the gas mask alongside a black Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap, blue jeans and a button-down shirt, police said.
The suspect approached a teller with a note that read, “Give Me Money No One Get Hurt,” investigators said.

Gaza allegedly gestured as though he had a gun, police said. He never actually displayed a weapon during the encounter, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported, police said. Officials have not publicly disclosed how much money was taken during the robbery, according to authorities.
An investigation continued throughout the day and eventually led officers to a home in Ronco, Pennsylvania, police said.
During the early morning hours of September 15, 2026, Gaza was taken into custody at the residence, authorities said.
The accused man was charged in connection with the robbery and faces counts including robbery and terroristic threats, police said.
Authorities have not yet publicly released information regarding Gaza’s bond or his next scheduled court appearance.
