A 43-year-old Dayton sex offender is back behind bars after allegedly failing to complete a required verification on time, according to deputies.
Christopher Hartle, 43, is of Dayton.
Hartle is classified as a Tier 3 registered sex offender, according to authorities.
That classification carries ongoing registration and verification requirements. In Nevada, failing to complete that required sex offender verification on time can be a felony, deputies said.

Lyon County deputies contacted the 43-year-old on Wednesday morning at the Dayton Substation.
During that contact, authorities said they determined his required verification had not been completed within the mandated timeframe.
That missed deadline turned into a new felony arrest, according to authorities.
Hartle was taken to the Lyon County Jail without incident, deputies said. He was booked on one felony count of violating sex offender registration requirements, authorities said.
His bail was set at $5,000, according to deputies.
