Florida man installed bedroom cameras to catch a coin thief — and caught wife Malia Nummerdor allegedly having sex with family dog

A Florida woman was arrested after her husband found home security camera footage allegedly showing her engaged in sexual activity with the family dog, Charlotte County deputies said.

Malia Nummerdor, 38, lives in Charlotte County, Florida.

Her husband discovered the disturbing footage involving the family pet while reviewing recordings from a bedroom camera, according to the arrest report.

The security cameras were not installed because anyone suspected illicit activity, deputies said. Instead, Nummerdor’s husband placed the devices inside the home because he was trying to figure out who kept stealing money from a coin container, the report states.

Everyone in the household reportedly knew the cameras were there. But while reviewing the bedroom footage, the husband allegedly discovered a recording showing Nummerdor engaged in sexual activity with the family dog, deputies said.

The husband contacted authorities and provided investigators with images from the recording, according to the arrest report.

He also gave investigating deputies access to the laptop containing the video recording, the report states.

When deputies interviewed Nummerdor, the 38-year-old reportedly acknowledged that she and the family dog were the ones shown in the video. But the suspect denied that anything sexual occurred and claimed she was simply petting the animal, according to the arrest report.

Deputies said her explanations were contradictory and did not account for what investigators observed in the footage, the arrest report states.

Nummerdor was subsequently arrested and charged with sexual contact with an animal, authorities said.

The charge against her remains an allegation, and she has not been convicted, records show.
