Gena English Wheat, 60, of Illinois, faces charges in Sangamon County court over the alleged concealment, records show.

The outstanding warrant stemmed from Wheat allegedly failing to appear in Sangamon County court in connection with charges involving the concealment of her neighbor’s death, records show.
Wheat had already been accused of concealing the neighbor’s death when another missed court appearance occurred. That absence resulted in a warrant being issued for her arrest, according to court documents.
Wheat’s next Sangamon County court appearance on the concealment case is scheduled for September 28 at 10:30 a.m., according to court records.
The defendant is not finished with federal court either. She is scheduled to be back in federal court on October 19 at 9 a.m., records show.
The underlying charges against Wheat remain pending, according to court records.
