A teenage boy was blasted in the leg near a Queens park by a gunman dressed in head-to-toe black, police said.

The 14-year-old victim was shot near the corner of 153rd Street and Jamaica Avenue, steps away from Rufus King Park, according to the NYPD.
The gunfire broke out steps away from a children’s playground inside the park, police said.
Officers responded to the intersection around 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, according to authorities.
The shooter was dressed in an all-black outfit, police said.
The gunman then disappeared on foot, according to police.
EMS responded to the scene and rushed the wounded youth to Jamaica Hospital, officials said. He was listed in stable condition, according to police.
It remains unclear what sparked the gunfire, police said. Investigators have also not determined whether the teen was the intended target, according to authorities.
Neighbor Abdulahead Erragi said he was sitting at his home across from the park when the gunshots rang out.

“I didn’t come outside, I was still in my home. I was scared myself because of what happened,” Erragi said.
He eventually peeked his head out to see a group of teens leaving the Jamaica park after the shooting, he said.
“There were so many kids, together like a team, like a mafia … There was a lot of drugs and a lot of smoking,” Erragi said.
Amber Logan was sitting on a bench inside the green space when she heard the sound of gunfire, she said.
“There was a big bang, or a couple of bangs and then birds flying. I didn’t really know what was going on, but I thought there was danger,” Logan said.
The park features a children’s playground, spray showers, a soccer field, a handball court and the historic King Manor Museum.
Logan said the shooting is giving her second thoughts about spending time at the park.
“I’m going to find a safer place to hang out if this is gonna be where people are gonna want to do violence,” Logan said.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, police said. An investigation remains ongoing, according to the department.
