Then-25-year-old Dewayne Gallishaw Jr. and his 26-year-old boyfriend had invited the victim to their residence.

The three had arranged to meet at the apartment for a sexual encounter.

After the 23-year-old man arrived, he and Gallishaw’s boyfriend began having sex.

His boyfriend followed him outside to check on his well-being.

Gallishaw told his boyfriend he was fine.

Gallishaw fired multiple gunshots straight through the closed door before fleeing the area.

During the shooting, several rounds penetrated the walls of an adjacent unit.
