“I JUST SHOT SOMEBODY IN THEIR CHEST, BRO”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY A 17-YEAR-OLD PENNSYLVANIA TEENAGER CONFESSED ON A PHONE CALL MOMENTS AFTER SHOOTING HIS CLASSMATE… AND A JUDGE HAS SENTENCED HIM TO UP TO 36 YEARS IN STATE PRISON.

A 17-year-old Pennsylvania teen has received a state prison sentence of 18 to 36 years for the 2025 shooting death of 16-year-old Khalief Webster.
Michael Nixon previously entered guilty pleas to third-degree murder and carrying a firearm without a license.
The victim was a classmate of Nixon.
Webster was riding a mini dirt bike through Upper Darby when the fatal confrontation occurred.
According to investigators, surveillance video captured a brief confrontation between the teens.
That brief exchange was followed almost immediately by a gunshot.
Moments later, video allegedly showed Nixon running from the scene.
The footage allegedly showed him tucking what appeared to be a gun into his waistband.
Nixon was also captured holding up a red phone as he fled.
“I just shot somebody in their chest, bro,” Nixon said on the call.
Police said Nixon later told a witness he had argued with Webster before.
Police said Nixon also admitted shooting Webster during that conversation.
Investigators conducted searches connected to the case.
During those searches, investigators recovered multiple handgun frames.
Authorities also recovered shell casings.
A cross-body bag was also seized by investigators.

Prosecutors argued that Nixon had repeatedly posted photos of himself posing with guns on social media.
Prosecutors said the teenager wanted to portray himself as a gangster.
But the defense pushed back against the state’s characterization.
The defense argued that the shooting was not planned.
The defense also argued that Nixon believed Webster might be reaching for a weapon.
Nixon addressed the court during the proceedings.
Nixon told the court he was scared during the incident.
He told the court he suffers from anxiety due to childhood abuse.
And Nixon told the court he did not intend to kill Webster.
Judge Deborah Krull sentenced Nixon to 17 to 34 years for third-degree murder.
Judge Krull ordered an additional 1 to 2 years for the unlicensed firearm charge.
Those terms are to be served consecutively.
A first-degree murder charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
Nixon was also ordered to pay $6,574 in restitution.
That restitution was ordered for funeral expenses.
Webster was 16 years old.
Nixon was 17.
