“I AM DADDY AND WE ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, PROSECUTORS SAY A 39-YEAR-OLD CINCINNATI MAN EXPLOITED AN OREGON TEENAGER AND A 7-YEAR-OLD CHILD… AND HE NOW FACES UP TO 30 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON AFTER PLEADING GUILTY.

Kyle Rist, a 39-year-old Cincinnati man, pleaded guilty Friday in federal court.
He entered guilty pleas to two federal child exploitation offenses.
The charges involved a teenager and a 7-year-old child.
Specifically, Rist pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement.
He also pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children.
Because Rist has pleaded guilty, the offenses are no longer allegations.
Prosecutors said the case began in 2023.
It began after the grandparents of a teenage girl in Oregon made a discovery.
They discovered she had been exchanging sexually explicit videos with Rist.
Those exchanges occurred through Facebook and Snapchat, according to prosecutors.
According to court records, Rist referred to himself as “daddy.”
He told the teenager they were in a relationship.
But authorities said he also created a second identity.

He pretended to be a man named “Jeremy Hadley.”
Authorities said he carried on separate conversations with the same teenager under that name.
Then the case expanded, according to federal prosecutors.
Investigators determined Rist sexually exploited a 7-year-old child.
That exploitation occurred between August and November 2024.
Rist admitted to creating videos depicting that child engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
He admitted to creating images depicting the child engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
And he admitted to assisting another person with it.
Prosecutors laid out what they stated was not a single bad decision, but a pattern of escalating exploitation.
There was one fake identity.
There was one teenage victim.
There was a 7-year-old child.
Rist now faces 15 to 30 years in federal prison.
A sentencing date has not yet been announced.
